Geography

We have been studying latitude and longitude lines:

• what they are (imaginary horizontal and vertical lines drawn on the globe)
• how they're used (to form a grid pattern)
• and why they're used (to locate places on a sphere, which isn't easy ~ imagine trying to describe to some how to locate a particular dimple on a golf ball or a particular little pore on an orange's peel!)
