India Research project

Work on your India project this week. It will be due on Monday, May 7.
(Ch. 11, "Survival of the Spirit").

Use your textbook, library and internet sources to help research 2 main topics.

• India's Present
• India's Geography
• 10 important terms, events and/or people (refer to assignment sheet)

One useful, interesting site is Daily Life in Ancient India.
The British Museum has a great section on Ancient India as well.

Demonstrate your learning any way you like, as long as it combines both words and visuals. Examples:

• book
• timeline, 
• powerpoint 
• prezi
• glogster
• alphabet cards
• oral presentation presentation

In addition, our poetry unit will continue with poetry readings, write arounds, studying the use of figurative language, and writing our own poems.
