Medieval Model Assignment

Medieval Models

Remember that your models are due in one week, on Tuesday, February 26.

It will be evaluated out of 100, based on 3 criteria:

  • Authenticity (does it look like the real thing?)
  • Effort and Detail
  • Evidence of Learning (demonstrated significant knowledge about the item/person/event/ place, etc.)

If you want to make a model out of play dough, here's an easy recipe for you:

Salt Playdough

1 cup water
1 cup salt
1/2 cup flour
Food coloring (optional)

Mix ingredients in pan.
Add food coloring (if desired). Stir on low heat.

When it thickens remove from heat.
Put some on waxed paper or floured surface and roll out.
Cut out objects or mold into shapes.
Air dry objects for a few days. Paint if you like.

Store unused portion in air-tight container.
It is not edible!
